About me

Originally from Romania, I moved to the UK in 2014 with £400 in my pocket and a dream to change my career and try something new. Back in Bucharest, I was a Marketing and Sales Manager, but I always knew I was meant do do something else. So I did, finding small projects, DJ-ing and learning coding and design on my own in order to get started, gather experience and become a designer.

Eleven years later I've mostly worked in startups but as a freelance as well, shipping products across fintech, insurtech, B2B/B2C SaaS. Recently I've also been exploring AI enabled workflows along side a few tools focused on motion design such as Unicorn Studio, Rive and Jitter.

Outside of work you'll find me planning my next travel destination, taking way too many photos while there, reading fantasy books, learning piano and cycling whenever I get the chance. I also try to post regularly about design on Threads.

Travelling is something that always fills me up with joy and creates long lasting memories. Me and my partner are always planning our next adventure. I try to snap pictures whenever I can and this picture is one of my favourites. Uluru, Australia is such a magical place!

Tools I've been using

I like to experiment with new tools and learn how they can further improve my output as a designer. Lately I've been learning to optimize my workflow using Conductor and Claude Design / Figma Make.
